Ukrainian President supports Carpathian tourism development
Ukrainian President backs investment in Carpathian ski resort
At the recent European strategy conference held in Kiev, Ukrainian president Volodymyr Zelensky said that the new megaproject in Slavske could help turn the cup Asians into Eastern Europe’s Alps.
The petrol company, Galnaftogaz, plans to invest in corporation with the European bank of Reconstruction development, between 300 and €500 million in 5 km of trails and infrastructure.
The President said: “The Carpathians are big, and we have a huge potential to become Eastern European Alps. We are currently considering a project in Slavsko and Borzhava”.
It is expected to take 3 to 5 years for the project to be completed.
