The news was met with much happiness amongst Ukrainians many of whom were angry when negotiations fell through last year. Tickets are now onsale and flights will begin in October and will fly to Boryspil in Kiev and Lviv's Danylo Halytski Airport.
Passengers will have a choice of 32 weekly flights to Kiev from Bratislava, Warsaw, Gdansk, Krakow, Poznan, Wroclaw, Vilnius and London Stansted.
