President Zelensky decrees visa free travel for UK citizens to Ukraine after Brexit

With Brexit happening on 31st January and Britain leaving the EU, some UK citizens may have been concerned about the need for visas to travel to the Ukraine. However, a Decree by President Zelensky has orders visa free travel after Brexit for UK citizens.

Here's the Decree:

DECREE OF THE PRESIDENT OF UKRAINE №28 / 2020

On the temporary introduction of a visa-free regime for citizens of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland

In order to develop and implement the principles of partnership between Ukraine and the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland,

1. Introduce visa-free entry into Ukraine and transit through the territory of Ukraine for citizens of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland for the period from 31 January 2020 to 30 January 2021, provided that their stay in Ukraine does not exceed 90 days within 180 days.

2. The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine shall take the measures resulting from this Decree.

Q. This Decree shall enter into force on the day of its publication.
